Our Work: The Three Links
Â
Read the WHO Emergency Care System Framework
The Community
We empower community members with lifesaving skills so that they can go from being bystanders to taking an active role in emergency response.
The Health Workforce
We build the capacity of health providers and facilities to deliver quality care through training, mentorship, technology, and practical systems.

The System
We lay down the infrastructure and advocate for policy that makes change possible and creates a better future for emergency response.

Specific Core Programs
We share what we learn.
The world already knows what saves lives in an emergency. What's missing is evidence for how to deliver it where resources are scarce: in a district hospital, through community health volunteers, hours from the nearest referral center. HAPSA's research asks that question in rural Nepal, adapting proven tools, testing them in practice, and publishing what it takes to make them work, so that districts and governments adopt documented models.
